UNESCO-IIEP(국제교육기획원)은 1962년 12월 유네스코 총회가 교육계획 분야에서의 진보적인 훈련과 연구를 위하여 이를 발족시켰다. IIEP는 1969년 1월 유네스코에 병합되었으며 독자적인 집행위원회에서 정책과 계획을 규제ㆍ통할한다. 프랑스 파리에 본부를 두고 있다.
